Our goal
is to provide a recreational program that introduces participants to competitive
swimming.
This program is open to males and females age’s 4-18 years that can
swim the length of a 25-yard pool.
Our swim team has an annual participation of
approximately 100-120 swimmers per summer.
All swimmers participate from May to
June.
The West
Houston Aquatic League (WHALe) is a recreational summer league
in West Houston, whose
main purpose
is to give children an opportunity to participate in organized swimming. The
primary
emphasis is on individual improvement
and achievement. Sportsmanship is emphasized for all participants,
children,
and adults.
